Two operators acquiring a great business to run for the long term.
Alejandro Sandell and Teddy Kahn are 50/50 partners looking to acquire and operate an established business. We offer owners a thoughtful succession plan that preserves what they built and keeps their team, customers, and reputation in good hands, with two committed operators ready to lead its next chapter.
What we bring
Operators, not financial buyers
We will run the business day to day, ensuring continuity for employees and customers. This is not a portfolio investment or a short-term hold.
Ability to close
We have the capital, financing relationships, and resources to get a deal across the finish line. We are SBA pre-qualified through our lending partner and can move quickly when the right opportunity arises
Our complementary skill sets
Growth strategy and value creation from top-tier consulting, paired with hands-on operations from a founded consumer products business.
Thoughtful transition
We respect what you built and value your expertise. Seller involvement is encouraged during transition.
Acquisition criteria
Our current focus
B2B distribution to independent retail
Wholesale distribution to convenience and small-format retail. We look for recurring orders, a fragmented customer base, and specialty products or custom sourcing alongside core lines.
Consumable & wear-part manufacturing
Manufacture of consumables and wear parts for installed equipment. We look for usage-driven reorders, a large installed base, and low customer concentration.
Proprietary industrial products
Manufacturers that own their designs, brand, and intellectual property. We look for products written into customer specifications, established distribution channels, and above-industry gross margins.
Inspection, testing & maintenance services
Code-mandated inspection and service of fire, life safety, and building systems. We look for contracted recurring inspections, dense service routes, and repair work generated from inspection findings.

Sources of funding
We have significant liquid capital, with proof of funds available. Our preferred structure pairs a meaningful equity investment with SBA 7(a) financing*, for which we are pre-qualified at $5M, and conventional bank debt. We are open to 5–20% seller financing.
Both partners are U.S. citizens with strong personal credit and symmetric personal guarantees. Where a deal calls for more equity, we can provide it, while keeping reserves to grow the business after close.
How we work
- Introduction: a short call to understand the business and whether it fits. No materials required.
- Review: historical financials and tax returns under NDA. Questions come from us.
- Letter of intent: we move once we have conviction, and we say no quickly when we do not.
- Diligence: messy data is fine, we do not expect polished reports. Send what you have and we’ll do the rest.
Our scorecard
This is the full set of factors we weigh when evaluating a business. We do not expect a business to meet each one. Strong businesses are typically excellent on some and still developing on others.
- Repeat revenue
Customers who return, through contracts or long-standing relationships, giving the business dependable revenue.
- Cash flow
Earnings that convert into cash once equipment, vehicles, and ongoing costs are covered.
- Room to grow
Clear ways to increase earnings, such as pricing, new customers, or new markets.
- No key person
The business does not depend on any one person day to day.
- Resilience
Steady demand for what the business sells, in good times and in bad.
- Low disruption risk
A model unlikely to be displaced by new technology or changing customer habits.
- Low customer concentration
No single customer accounts for a large share of revenue.
- Reliable supply
Dependable suppliers, with no single supplier holding too much leverage.
